Master thesis: Remote sensing-based land cover classification and change detection using Sentinel-2 data and Random Forest – A case study of Rusinga Island, Kenya

In my master’s thesis, I used high-resolution satellite images and machine learning to create land cover classifications that can help map the island and plan and monitor reforestation. Furthermore, a tool is to be created from the results with which changes in land cover can be calculated and visualized quickly and easily in the future.
